Lovely links!

For this lovely day!

First off, I blogged over at the HarperTeen myspace blog - source of all things cool and YA! Also, the good people at Harper Collins Canada are giving you a chance to win an advance copy of WONDROUS STRANGE with their First Look program! Check it out and enter to WIN!!

Second, the marvelous Dreamer Reader has posted a FANTASTIC review of WS over on her DREAMING OF BOOKS blog, wherein she says such things as would make me blush if I wasn't already tickled pink! Thanks for the kudos, DR - I'm thrilled you enjoyed the book!

And third, over at Fuse #8, Wunderlibrarian Elizabeth Bird checked out the offerings at the Harper Collins Spring 2009 Library Preview, whereupon she gave a shoutout to WS and posted a big, pretty picture of my cover to end the article! Check it out - very interesting reading!

As for me? Hip-deep in rehearsals for the latest Tempest Theatre Group production, Romeo and Juliet, and delving into book 2 revisions! Sometimes I remember to eat.

I just discovered your blog by way of Harperteen and Wondrous Strange looks amazing. Harperteen is a top-notch imprint, and I can't wait for December to snag myself a copy!

Hi Rosalinda!

I'm so glad you found me! I have to say - I'm nothing but thrilled with the folks at Harperteen.

Lovely to meet you and I hope you enjoy WS when it finally hits the shelves!

Hi Lesley,

I just finished the advanced readers copy of Wondrous Strange that I managed to get from the bookstore at which I work. I just wanted to let you know that I thoroughly enjoyed it (much to my surprise, since the ARC's we usually get tend to be pretty lame). I couldn't put it down - in fact, I was almost late for work in order to read the last few pages.

I'm really looking forward to your future work. Any chance that you're planning to write a sequel?

JessiEvaEs--Wondrous Strange is the first in a trilogy, actually, so you'll have plenty to look forward to. And definitely talk it up to your friends since you liked it; you booksellers are important in getting the buzz going.

Okay, I'm going off publishing mode now!
