I'm baaaaack.....

I know, I know.

You'll believe it when you read it.

But I am! This is me, typing at you.

You're thrilled, aren't you? I can tell. Don't be coy.

See... it's been a little hectic around here at ATT (All This Time - y'know - the name of the blog? Sheesh.) And, in fact, there was NOT a whole heck of a lot of time to go around for yours truly... Certainly not very much of the FREE variety.

But the Crazy Train finally derailed and dumped me off here and I can now get back to my (semi/kinda/oh-so-occasionally-but-dang-the-cat-picture-kept-us-all-going-for-awhile) regular bloggy goodness!!

Actually, it was little more like - those rampaging dudes in the Wild Hunt (see picture, above) finally let go of my hair. Except with less nudity. A lot less. More like, comfy pants and puffy shoes and all hunched over my laptop pounding away like a maniac so I could meet my deadline.

Which I did.

While performing twice a day for two weeks in Tempest Theatre Group's awesome awesome production of MACBETH. Playing Lady Macbeth. And the first witch. With eight costume changes and wigs.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS.

Still, it was a wild ride...

But it's nice to be back. With you. My readership of probably negative one-ish. I love you so.

  1. Whoa, whoa, whoa! You played one of the witches too?! Jeez, I'm amazed you have the energy to stand upright.

My God, no wonder you never write! ;-) (I kid, because I love.)

  2. Welcome back. Being busy is the price of success. What opera is that painting from? Is that the Ride of the Valkyries from "The Ring of the Nibelung"?

  3. I just re-read your post. Oh. The Wild Hunt from Celtic myth. I see. Who did the painting?

  4. Hey Guys!

Doug - I ALWAYS write! I'm just uber-sucky at writing e-mails! Will rectify soon...

You'll be amused to know that (on accounta the wig) the first witch more than vaguely resembled a certain former movie host... "hrnyuh-huh"

    Hey Rusty!

Its a painting called Åsgårdsreien by Peter Nicolai Arbo (1872).

It's a slightly more Nordic version of the Hunt than the one that has had me in its clutches of late, but I do love that painting!
